Tamarack Resort, Idaho
FIVE FOURTEEN
Perched at the top of the ski run, Five Fourteen is a legacy mountain retreat shaped by European influence and western tradition. With its steep gables, arched stonework, and rich timber detailing, the home blends the elegance of alpine chalets with the ruggedness of the Idaho landscape.
The exterior marries old-world character with lasting materials—layered wood siding, hand-laid stone, and expressive trusses that frame sweeping mountain views. Arched colonnades and generous balconies nod to European architecture, while the home’s massing and orientation are designed to embrace its ski-in/ski-out location and forested backdrop.
Inside, the layout is both functional and timeless—open gathering spaces, private retreats, and thoughtful transitions that make everyday living feel effortless. Expansive windows fill the home with light, while custom millwork and enduring finishes echo the warmth and craftsmanship of traditional European homes.
Beneath the surface, the home is built for performance with robust mechanical systems to ensure year-round comfort, even in the heart of winter.
Now completing its foundation pour, this home is just beginning to rise from the mountain. Follow the build @soignehomes as we bring Five Fourteen to life—one layer, one detail, one pour at a time.
